The german-american singer Janna - whose mother toured through America during the Summer of Love - was born in a hippy town in California and later grew up in the legendary "harem" of Rainer Langhans in Germany. It is Janna's songwriting that is the mastermind behind the band with her New Wave, NDW and 80's inspired melodies being the starting point of the songs journey. Her singing is both energetic and tough as well as dreamy and full of yearning. Her love of music has also shaped her work as a filmmaker with various music videos and an Hip-Hop documentary shot in LA under her belt. Her documentary "Kinder der Schlafviertel" (Street Punk Moscow) about Punks in the subburbs of Russia won her several prestigious newcomer Prizes.
